Graduates Enrollment: Principles of 2nd ROUND Examination, CPOE, SZU

According to the “2020 National Master's Graduate Enrollment Management Regulations” (Teaching [2019] No. 6) and the “Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on Doing a Good Job in the 2020 National Master’s Graduate Reexamination Work” (Teaching [2020] No. 4) issued by the Ministry of Education, as well as the “Shenzhen University 2020 Master's Graduate Enrollment Reexamination and Admission Measures” issued by our university, and in combination with the actual situation of our college, we have formulated the detailed rules for the reexamination and admission work of this enrollment.

1 Enrollment number

In 2020, our college plans to enroll 17 full-time physics academic degrees (070200), and has accepted 3 exemptions. Currently, 14 students are admitted for the unified examination; The full-time academic degree of optical engineering (080300) is planned to enroll 70 people, and 7 students have been accepted as recommended students. Now 63 people are enrolled in the unified examination; The full-time electronic information professional degree (085400) is planned to enroll 100 people, and one person has been recommended and exempted. Now 99 people are enrolled in the unified examination (97 people are enrolled in the department, and 2 people are recruited by Shenzhen University and Zhongshan Base jointly).

Candidates who will take the second round exam of physics, optical engineering and electronic information in 2020 (see the appendix for the list of second round exam).

3Preparation guidance for 2nd ROUND Examination

Due to the impact of the epidemic, our college adopted a remote network approach and conducted online interviews for the second round of postgraduate enrollment in 2020.

1 Requirements for retest equipment:

1. Each remote examination candidate must prepare: 1 smartphone, 1 computer with a camera or tablet. Among them, smartphones are used for the main console, and computers or tablets are used for the second console. To maintain sufficient power, it is recommended to use an external power source.

2. Network devices: It is recommended to use WIFI networking for smartphones, and set to prohibit all incoming calls. Computers or tablets that use wired networks or WIFI are prohibited from using host based smartphone hotspots.

3. Software requirements: Candidates should download and install the We Link software client required for the re examination in advance, familiarize themselves with the specific operation process of the software, and download it from: https://www.huaweicloud.com/product/welink-download.html

4. Environmental requirements: Candidates should choose their own venue for the re examination, with a relatively quiet, independent environment and bright light (non reflective); Candidates should face the wall (with a spacing of no more than 1 meter) during the re examination, and there should be no reference materials, headphones or other equipment related to the re examination within the visible range. The examination venue should not have anyone present. The second position is placed 45 degrees and 1.5 meters behind the candidate's side.

2 Qualification review:

From now on until 16:00 on May 14th, please log in to the Master's Admissions Management System of Shenzhen University as soon as possible http://ehall.szu.edu.cn/yz/cscjcx Upload materials and conduct qualification review.

The material requirements are as follows:

1. Fresh students:

① Check the online authentication code of student status on Xuexin Network; ② Second generation ID card front and back photos; ③ Student ID photo (should be registered until this semester, if the candidate is unable to provide it, a proof of enrollment issued by the college can be provided); ④ Transcript photo

2. Previous students:

① Verification of Xuexin Network/Foreign Academic Degree Certification System: Online Certification Code for Academic Degrees/Certification Report for Academic Degrees/Certification Code for Foreign Academic Degrees; ② Second generation ID card front and back photos; ③ Graduation certificate photo.

Note: The validity period of the above education/student status certification must be until August 31st or longer.

3. Supplementary materials:

① A photo of the "Retirement Certificate" and a photo of the "Admission Approval Letter" (both must be complete for retired soldier plan candidates) Photos of other policy bonus materials (limited to one photo for all policy bonus candidates).

4. Physical examination report review (paper report review):

① The examination report must be from May 20th to May 29th, and the examination hospital is a tertiary hospital.

② The physical examination results of each candidate must be signed by the chief examiner. If a candidate's physical examination report does not have the signature of the chief examiner, the candidate should immediately go to the hospital to sign it.

3 Re examination requirements:

From May 13th to May 15th, the college's re examination staff will organize online re examination training and drills for candidates. Please download the software in advance, debug the re examination equipment, and pay attention to emails and phone calls. Please follow the arrangements of the re examination staff during the re examination period. Candidates who lose contact without reason will be deemed to have waived the assessment for this re examination.

4 Retest time and specific content

1 Retest time:

1. The physics major retest will start at 8:30 am on May 16th, divided into two sessions: morning and afternoon, and all candidates are required to participate.

2. The reexamination of optical engineering specialty will start at 8:30 a.m. on May 16.

3. The electronic information professional re examination will begin on May 17th at 8:30 am.

2 Main methods and contents of the re examination

Candidates participating in the re examination must register online and confirm the exam time, as well as the online remote re examination software platform and usage methods. During the re examination, it is necessary to verify the ID card and the exam environment. Candidates who are 15 minutes late for the second round of the exam are prohibited from participating in their respective exams.

Main methods of re examination (out of 220 points for re examination)

1. Comprehensive interview

(1) If there are a large number of candidates, the interview can be conducted in groups.

(2) Each interview group generally has no less than 5 members.

(3) After the interview, each candidate must independently score on the spot by the re examination scoring personnel.

(4) A full score of 120 points.

2. English Test

Including English speaking and listening tests, with a maximum score of 50 points.

3. Professional Course Interview

Due to the inability to conduct on-site written exams for remote online re examination, the original assessment method for the re examination subject has been adjusted to interview format, with a maximum score of 50 points.

The sum of the scores for the professional course interview, comprehensive interview, and English test is the total score for the re examination.

The physics interview is divided into morning and afternoon sessions.

The morning session consists of two parts:

(1) Interview for professional courses: choose one of the two subjects of linear algebra and laser principle. Candidates should prepare paper and pen for the main process of writing;

(2) English test: The form of oral English question and answer.

The afternoon session will be a comprehensive interview in the form of Q&A.

6. The professional course interview, comprehensive interview and English test of optical engineering and electronic information will be comprehensively assessed and scored in one interview.

7. Interview for electronic information major courses, choose one from two subjects: optical testing technology, intelligent instruments, and measurement and control systems.

3 Main content of the re examination

To improve the selection and targeting of the re examination, the content of the re examination in the School of Physics and Optoelectronics Engineering should generally include the following basic aspects:

1. Comprehensive qualities and abilities

(1) Ideological and political qualities, moral qualities, etc;

(2) Information on learning, scientific research, social practice (student work, club activities, volunteer services, etc.) or actual work performance outside of this discipline (major);

(3) Career oriented, sense of responsibility, discipline (compliance with laws and regulations), collaboration, and mental health status;

(4) Humanistic literacy;

(5) Manner, expression, etiquette, etc.

2. Professional qualities and abilities

(1) Undergraduate studies and grades;

(2) Comprehensively assess the candidate's mastery of theoretical knowledge and applied skills in the subject (major), their ability to analyze and solve problems using the learned theories, their understanding of the development dynamics of the subject, and their potential for development in the field of the subject;

(3) Ability to speak, write, and read foreign languages;

(4) Innovative spirit and ability.

(5) Compared with academic degree postgraduates, the reexamination of professional degree postgraduates should focus more on the application of professional knowledge, professional ability tendency, practical experience and scientific research ability, and should also focus on the examination of candidates' interests, hobbies, strengths and employment intentions.

5 Attention

Those who have one of the following circumstances will not be admitted:

(1) Those who fail to pass the examination of their ideological and political qualities and moral character;

(2) Those with a total score of less than 60% in the second round of the exam;

(3) Those who fail to submit the re examination registration materials on time or falsify the registration materials;

(4) Those who have not attended or failed the physical examination at the designated hospital of our school;

(5) Accepted applicants from other schools.

(6) Candidates who have not obtained their undergraduate graduation certificate before the deadline for on-site registration confirmation (excluding fresh undergraduate graduates from full-time regular higher education institutions);

(7) Full time undergraduate graduates from regular higher education institutions who have not obtained their undergraduate graduation certificate before September 1st will be disqualified from admission.

 

 

Attachment: Shenzhen University 2020 Master's Candidate Reexamination Physical Examination Process and Precautions 1. Physical Examination Content and Precautions

 

1. The candidates who participated in the physical examination are: candidates who participated in the 2020 master's graduate re examination.

(1) Physical examination time: May 20th to May 29th, from 8am to 10am on an empty stomach for physical examination (it is recommended to maintain good rest, light diet, do not drink alcohol the day before the examination, and do not eat after 8pm). Collect the test form according to the hospital's designated time, sign the opinion of the chief examiner and stamp it.

(2) Physical examination items: internal medicine, surgery, facial features, chest X-ray/chest X-ray, 2 liver function tests, 2 kidney function tests, and blood routine tests. 3. Medical examination fee: subject to the standards of tertiary hospitals in various regions.

2. Physical examination process

(1) Take the second-generation ID card to the physical examination office to get the physical examination Form for recruitment and transfer for physical examination, and stick one or two inch bareheaded recent photos (recent photos within half a year) of the subject at the "photo posting office"; Fill in the name, gender, and age of the examinee in regular script on the physical examination form and laboratory test form (please make sure to write in regular script).

(2) On the day of the physical examination, the fee will be paid on an empty stomach at the toll booth of the recruitment and transfer examination office.

(3) After paying the fee, blood should be drawn first, and then relevant examinations should be conducted in various departments (height, blood pressure measurement, internal, external, eye, ear, nose, and throat departments) (pregnant women are exempt from chest X-ray examination and must declare to a radiologist in advance). Before internal and surgical examinations, height, weight, and blood pressure should be measured first.

(4) After the physical examination is completed, keep the physical examination report well, collect the test form according to the hospital's designated time, and the chief examiner shall sign and stamp the qualified opinion of the physical examination.

(5) Candidates should promptly return the stamped physical examination form to each master's program.

3. Physical examination standards

The physical examination standards shall be in accordance with the Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination for Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities (Jiao Tong [2003] No. 3) issued by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and the China Disabled Persons' Federation, and the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education and the General Office of the Ministry of Health on Cancelling the hepatitis B Project Examination for Enrollment of Students in Ordinary Colleges and Universities (Jiao Tong [2010] No. 2) The relevant provisions of the "Letter to the Teaching Department on Clarifying the Specific Judgment Standards for Chronic Hepatitis Patients with Abnormal Liver Function" (Teaching [2010] No. 22) (click) shall be implemented.
